Rupert Grint: Give Me Back My Tax Money!

While most celebrities find themselves in trouble for underpaying their taxes,Rupert Grint believes he’s actually been charged too much by the British government.

The 27-year-old “Harry Potter” hunk appeared in a London court on Monday (June 27) to argue that he overpaid his taxes between 2008 and 2010, to the tune of $1.34 million.

Grint explained to the judge, "I didn't really have a reason to question them (the accounts). I am not too great. My knowledge of this is quite limited so I put a lot of faith and trust in Dan's knowledge." His lawyer added, “There is no tax avoidance involved here. He has paid all his tax up front," he said. If he wins the case he gets a refund. He just wants to make that point in open court."
